Stéphane Sarrazin to drive PanteraRX6

MJP Promotions, the promotor of the Global Rallycross Europe series, today (February 8) announced Frenchman Stéphane Sarrazin (43) as the most recent series add. Sarrazin, who has a background in several disciplines of Autosport going from Formula 1 over Rally, V8 Supercars to Formula E, will be probably most know from his results in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and in general the FIA World Endurace Championship. During these days he was several times for Toyota co-driving with Alexander Wurz, the Austrian who made a switch to Rallycross already last year.

I am always looking for new challenges,” Sarrazin said. “When I learned about GRC Europe from Alex Wurz, who is totally hooked on Rallycross now, I had to find out about it. It looked very exciting from the start, particularly in bringing my off-road and tarmac skills together in a single race. To my great surprise, it was not too hard to find the sponsors due to the lower costs and here I am looking forward testing the brand-new PanteraRX6 car by MJP Racing.”
