Finn Jesse Kallio will race in 2019 for Andréas Eriksson’s Olsbergs/MSE. Kallio, who won the so-called RX Academy in 2017 and following his win was awarded in 2018 with a season in Super1600 in the FIA European Rallycross Championship, will step up to the RX2 International Series in 2019 – the official support series to the FIA World Rallycross Championship. Kallio agreed a two-year-deal with Olsbergs/MSE. “I think RX2 is the best option for the next two years to develop myself as a driver,” he said. “I know that I have the talent to compete at the very top, but at the same time I recognise that I’m not yet ready to go up against the best drivers in the world.”
